Summer is here! This means it’s sunburn season. What better way to protect from sunburn than a full-body sunsuit? I knew of Stonz brand because I had a pair of Stonz winter booties for my kids when they were newborn babies. I loved how quick it was to pull the booties over the baby’s feet after putting them in a onesie winter suit to bundle up for outdoor weather as an extra protective layer. Stonz brand is on a mission to make it easy to litle kids to get outside in all weather, and that means their gear is made with movement in mind. Their gear is created specifically for young bodies who are constantly exploring their world and moving. Kids are not meant to sit still, and Stonz brand knows that. Their brand makes outdoor time easy for parents to get kids outdoors with no worry about protection in the summer, or warmth in the winter. They make high quality gear that is cheminal free and non-toxic.
Most recently I’ve discovered Stonz for their summer items. I don’t love lathering my kids in sunscreen whenever we go outdoors. With how often we go outdoors we would be going through so many sunscreen bottles in the summer so a fabulous alternative to sunscreen on the whole body is a sunsuit.
Some highlights of the sunsuits include:
*They are quick-drying. The quick dry fabric allows for seamless movent between waterplay and dry play. We all know kids are constantly having water play on hot summer days to cool off!
*The two-way zipper goes from the neck all the way to the feet so you can quickly zip down for diaper changes/bathroom breaks. The zipper also makes it easy for older kids to put on and off the suit themselves. The zip design reminds my toddler so much of footie pajamas that he has started calling his cruiser suit his “jammies.” So now when we go outdoors we say lets get “jammies” on to go play!
*Non-Toxic UV protective fabric. The tight-knit fabric is what keeps this sun suit effective. That means that no matter how many times you wash it, it’ll protect your little one from the harsh sun without
*Fabric made to move: With soft and stretchy fabric, their sunsuit won’t restrict your child’s movements so they play all day long without overheating (thanks breathable sides!)
*Machine washable: Parents don’t want putsy cleaning task…hello machine washable clothing! Easy so you have one less thing to worry about in the chaos of parenting.
Plus how cute are the pattern designs? They have lot of cute patterns to pick from! I opted for “Salmon” for my toddler (although he likes to call them sharks) and “Surf Camper” for my baby.
A good shoe for a young walker is extremely important; it can help foster their physical development and overall balance. Stonz cruiser shoes are a great option because they are designed specifically for early walkers. I cannot say enough how happy I am with this shoe for our very mobile and adventurous 1-year-old.
*The lightweight and flexible sole bends at the 1/3 front of the foot to help with balance and foot movement, while the reinforced heel keeps the child stay stable.
*The wide-toe cap is designed with safety in mind for early walkers
*The bendable material is designed to help with balance and foot movement
*Fits narrow and chunky feet: The wide opening and Velcro closure will make it so easy to take your little one out in no time, once you slide these on and adjust, they’ll fit your baby perfectly (and stay on all day). I can speak from experience the only time I’ve lost this shoe is when I took it off of my baby and set it in the stroller, and then my baby chucked the shoe out! So parent at fault for that mistake here, not the shoe design itself!
*The non-toxic materials including the breathable mesh keep the child’s feet dry and breathable resulting in no stinky feet! I’ve experienced stinky feet with a few other shoes but these don’t leave any scent.
*Safe for your child + the planet: Made from all-vegan and non-toxic materials, the cruiser keeps your child and the planet safe.
Cruiser shoes will be the last baby shoe brand you’ll buy because you’ll see how much they support your babies walking! I am in love with this shoe for my baby! Don’t make the same measuring mistake I did! A reminder that Stonz is a Canadian company and they use meters, not inches. They have a very helpful sizing chart on their website but I neglected to have “inches” selected for the unit of measure. This means the size for my toddler was a wee too small. The size for the baby ended up fitting still with room for growth.
