During the month of November, many of us slow down and remind ourselves what we are thankful for most in life. This year as we’ve navigated a year in COVID, is especially is a time to be more thankful than ever. What if thankfulness was something we read about to our children all year long? The earlier the better to instill those practices of thankfulness and gratitude in little minds. The world will be a better place one thankful mind at a time.
123’s of Thankfulness is simple yet covers so many early learning concepts! Counting, rhyming, social-emotional development, illustrations of outdoor scenery, and of course teaching little ones to be thankful! The illustrations are full of familiar and happy things that children see in the world making it a perfect introduction to the concept of thankfulness. It’s also the perfect book to calm a little one down with the soft colored illustrations. Rory loves it when I wiggle my fingers to count and kiss him during the “1 thank you kiss” page!
